Terms of use
Last updated 2 November 2026
These terms apply when you create a CloseDesk account or use closedesk.in. By using CloseDesk you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the business you sign up for.
Your account
- The person who signs up is the account’s first admin and is responsible for who they add.
- Keep passwords private. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
Plans
- Each plan sets how many companies, admins and staff your account can have. CloseDesk enforces these limits.
- Paid plans are charged per account per month at the prices on the pricing page. We’ll give notice before changing prices for an existing account.
- You can change plans at any time under Settings → Plan.
Your data
The data you put into CloseDesk belongs to you. You let us store and process it only to provide the service. See the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Don’t use CloseDesk to break the law, to store content you have no right to, to attack or overload the service, or to try to reach other customers’ data. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your responsibility for your books
CloseDesk helps you organise and track your close, reconciliations and GST checks. It doesn’t give accounting, tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for your accounts, filings and the decisions you make with them.
Availability
We work to keep CloseDesk available and your data safe, but we can’t promise the service will never be interrupted. Keep your own copies of important records.
Ending
You can stop using CloseDesk at any time. We may end or suspend an account that breaks these terms. When an account closes, you can ask us for an export of your data.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions? Contact us.
