Connect Zoho Books
- Open Settings → Zoho Books and press Connect Zoho Books.
- Sign in to Zoho as a Zoho Books admin and press Accept to let CloseDesk read your books. CloseDesk can’t change anything in Zoho Books.
- You come back to CloseDesk, connected. If your Zoho account has more than one organisation, choose the one for this company.
No Connect Zoho Books button? Your CloseDesk has no Zoho app yet. Ask your platform admin, or press through the steps under Connect with your Zoho API keys on the same page.
Then, on Balance sheet, pick a close and press Get balances from Zoho Books. CloseDesk reads the trial balance once, as at the last day of the close month, and again only when someone presses Refresh from Zoho Books.
Trial balance from an export
- In Zoho Books, open Reports › Trial Balance for the last day of the close month.
- Export it as XLSX or CSV.
- In CloseDesk, open Balance sheet, pick the close, press Import a file instead and choose the file. See Reconcile the balance sheet.
Chart of accounts
In Zoho Books go to Accountant › Chart of Accounts › Export, then import the file in Settings → Chart of accounts. See Set up the chart of accounts.
