Sign in to CloseDesk

Sign in with your email and password, or with Google or Microsoft.

With your email and password

  1. Open CloseDesk: closedesk.in → Sign in, or the address your company uses for its own CloseDesk.
  2. Type your email and password and press Sign in.
  3. If you use two-factor sign-in, type the 6-digit code from your authenticator app (or a backup code). See two-factor sign-in.

You land on My Workarea. One sign-in shows everything your access levels allow, in every company of your account: there is nothing to switch.

With Google or Microsoft

  1. On the sign-in page press Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft. These buttons only show when your CloseDesk has them turned on.
  2. Choose your account. CloseDesk matches the email Google or Microsoft confirms to your CloseDesk user, so use the same email your admin added.
  3. If two-factor sign-in is on, CloseDesk still asks for your code.

On closedesk.in, someone with no CloseDesk user who signs in with Google or Microsoft is taken to create a new account. If you meant to join your team’s account, ask your admin to add you first. On a company’s own CloseDesk, only people an admin has added can get in.

Joining a team

You can’t join an existing account by yourself. Ask an admin of that account to add you under Settings → Users, then sign in with the email they used.

Your first sign-in

If an admin gave you a starting password, or set a new one for you, CloseDesk asks you to choose your own straight after you sign in with it. Type the password you signed in with, then your new one twice, and press Save and continue.

Forgot your password?

  1. On the sign-in page, press Forgot password?.
  2. Type the email you sign in with and press Email me a link.
  3. Open the email from CloseDesk and follow the link. It works once, for an hour.
  4. Choose your new password, type it again and press Save new password. Then sign in with it.

If CloseDesk says it can’t send email yet, ask an admin of your account to set a new password for you in Settings → Users. Signed up with Google or Microsoft? Just sign in with it.
